Every square found in every natural stone chess board we design is made unique by the natural colors found within the original material. These colors form naturally, in erratic and exotic patterns which recombine to create a surface which is exquisitely individual.

The pictures posted here really don’t do justice to this item. This is our natural stone, wrought iron, fully customizable coffee table. It features a sharp frame, a powerful function, and the ability to choose from up to 8 pieces of unique, natural stone, for the table tops.

The stones you can choose from include various slate, sandstone, and travertine inserts that are available in a variety of colors and patterns. Further, the individual coffee table you receive will be made even more unique by the individual features found in the stone used in your piece.

Oak wood green, and oak wood brown, are two types of marble which are quarried from the Himallayan mountain, in India. The are quarried from roughly the same montain area, and are composed of roughly the same chemicals, which makes them very similar in pattern and appearance. However, they are made to contrast in green and brown by the fact that certain impurities were introduced into each stone, during its formation. This chess set is made from a variety of attractive natural stone materials. The squares consist of moondyne sandstone, a gentle stone which resembles the surface of a dessert polished smooth; and Green Gold slate, a texturally vivid silver stone with hints of other hues, which is polished smooth to match its counterpart. The pieces are hand carved and crafted from Pakistani soapstone.

While the materials used to create this set are all imported, the actual board is manufactured by our team of PebbleArtists right here in the United States.

Over the years we have developed a lot of innovative, imaginitive, and delightful natural stone creations. In fact we develop so many designs, that it is almost impossible to offer them all to our customers.

Rather than just putting them into storage until someone can get around to adding them to inventory, we often hang them throughout our offices and warehousing, in order to inspire us to acts of greater creativity.
